Congratulations to Jackson Cagle who won an NSF Young Professionals Award at EMBC’16

Brain Mapper Jackson Cagle won an National Science Foundation (NSF) Award for Young Professionals Contributing to Smart and Connected Health at the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Conference (EMBC) in Orlando on August 19th. The Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society partnered up with NSF at this year’s conference to host a series of events that engaged students in advanced research and professional development. Jackson recently joined the Brain Mapping Lab to continue working on a closed-loop deep brain stimulation system, which he initiated during his senior design project. The NSF award includes a $500 travel award.
