Brain Mapper Enrico Opri travelled to Minneapolis, MN with a travel award to attend the Minnesota Neuromodulation Symposium. His poster entitled “Cortico-thalamic Based Responsive Deep Brain Stimulation for the Treatment of Essential Tremor” placed second and Enrico brought back home a poster award. Dr. Gunduz awarded UF Preeminence Term Professorship for 2017-2020

Dr. Aysegul Gunduz was named a UF Term Professor for 2017-2020. The UF Preeminence Term Professorships were established in 2017 to further recognize and reward faculty achievements as defined as excellence in teaching, research and service. 31 tenure-track  faculty from the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering were selected for the professorship.
