Jackson Cagle named the 2017 Outstanding Gator Engineer M.S. Scholar

Brain Mapper Jackson Cagle was named the 2017 Outstanding Gator Engineer M.S. Scholar. His application and record  at the University of Florida truly impressed the awards selection committee. Jackson will receive this award during the College’s Award Ceremony on April 20th. Enrico Opri receives poster and travel awards at the Minnesota Neuromodulation Symposium

Brain Mapper Enrico Opri travelled to Minneapolis, MN with a travel award to attend the Minnesota Neuromodulation Symposium. His poster entitled “Cortico-thalamic Based Responsive Deep Brain Stimulation for the Treatment of Essential Tremor” placed second and Enrico brought back home a poster award. Dr. Gunduz awarded UF Preeminence Term Professorship for 2017-2020

Dr. Aysegul Gunduz was named a UF Term Professor for 2017-2020. The UF Preeminence Term Professorships were established in 2017 to further recognize and reward faculty achievements as defined as excellence in teaching, research and service. 31 tenure-track  faculty from the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering were selected for the professorship.
